There is a long term Plan for printing and distribution of at least 100,000 copies of the combined CE-EC Dictionary. The plan is expected to be realised in six steps during five or six years. For 2010/ 2011 we have planned three steps.

• The first step is the printing and distribution of 10,000 copies of the second edition of the CE-EC Dictionary. The Dictionary has nearly 860 pages and over 40,000 entries. All copies will be printed before the end of September 2010. After printing we will have a positive balance of € 11,398.-.
• The second step is making a reprint of 10,000 copies (i.e. 5,000 in October/ November 2010 and 5,000 in January/ February 2011). Probably about 20% of the books of the first step will be sold, at € 12,000.-. This means that with regard to the second step, which will cost about € 50.000.-, we will need sponsorship for € 27,000.-.
• The third step is publishing the third edition of the CE-EC Dictionary. It will have over 900 pages. We intend to have it printed in 10,000 copies by the end of 2011. The third step will probably cost € 60,000.-. Considering possible sellings of 20% of the above mentioned reprint we will need sponsorhip for € 48,000.-

Please consider that no costs are being included for compiling, editing and lay-outing the book, and for organising and leading the Dictionary Project, as these activities have been offered for free, in the interest of the people of Malawi and Zambia. The same is true for almost all the work of the builder of our website and of the auditor of the Project.
