We regret to announce the death of Wilson (Cliff) Kalonga, who passed away on 6th March 2012 after a two-week illness. Educated at Ntchisi then at Zomba Catholic Secondary School, Cliff was a teacher whose exceptional knowledge of Chichewa, and of the trees and animals of Malawi, enabled us to make many invaluable corrections and additions to the Chichewa Dictionary. He will be sorely missed. Cliff was buried at Sulira village near Malomo, Kasungu District, on 9th March.
